Ruth Quade

Ruth JoAnn Quade, 90, of Crosby passed away on June 17, 2026, at the Heartwood Care Center in Crosby. She was born in Minneota on Dec. 19, 1935, to Edward and Amy (Salfisberg) Kormann. Ruth was united in marriage to Robert Quade on June 15, 1957, in Truman.
Ruth was a retired LPN with 40 years of service. Her employment includes: Miller Hospital in St. Paul; Watonwan County Memorial in St. James; Burlington Nursing Home in Burlington, Colo.; Truman Nursing Home in Truman and Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby.
Ruth was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Crosby.
Ruth is survived by sons, Steven (Renee Gilmore) Quade, Ryan (Bonnie) Quade and Cory (Krista) Quade; sister, Colleen Wheelock of Buenavista, Colo.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Preceding Ruth in death are her parents; husband, Robert; and brother, Richard Kormann.
A funeral service was held on Monday noon, June 22, at Zion Lutheran Church in Crosby. Burial was at the Bay Lake Cemetery in Bay Lake Township. If desired, memorials are preferred to Zion Lutheran Church in Crosby. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
