 September 21, 2026 5:30 PM
I. Call to Order: 5:30 PM
Roll Call: Present — Mike Pfeil,  James Farnum, Kenna Krahmer and Aaron Brudelie
Absent — Maria Haler and Paula Heckman
Staff Present: Lisa Shellum, and Eva Sonnabend.
II. Approval of Agenda:
Motioned by Krahmer, and seconded by Farnum, to approve/amend the September 21, 2026 Board Agenda. Motion passed on a 4-0 vote.
III. Approval of Prior Meeting Minutes:
Motioned by Brudelie, and seconded by Farnum, to approve the August 17, 2026 regular minutes. Motion passed on a 4-0 vote.
IV. Presentation of Bills/Finance (consent agenda)
Motioned by Krahmer, and seconded by Brudelie, to approve the September 2026 bills as presented in check register and wire transfer information. Motion passed on a 4-0 vote.
PUBLIC TESTIMONY ON Pay 2028 REFERENDUM RENEWAL
V. Committees: 
A. Buildings and Grounds -project update - Gym is open again, daycare moved and inspected for approval, punch list items review, flooring discussion, and project manager change.
B. Sports Committee - Tomahawk Valley Conference Constitution

VII. Action Items
A. Hiring
A motion was offered by Krahmer, seconded by Farnum, to approve the hiring of Tyson Meinert as paraprofessional at $15.50 per hour and Patti Reigel as head cook at $28.00 per hour. Motion passed on a 4-0 vote.
B. Levy Certification
A motion was offered by Brudelie, seconded by Krahmer, to approve and certify the proposed 2026-27 Payable Levy at Maximum. Motion passed on a 4-0 vote.
C. Truth in Taxation
A motion was offered by Farnum, seconded by Brudelie, to set the following date for the 2026-27 payable levy Truth in Taxation meeting date for December 21, 2026 at 6:01 PM. Motion passed on a 4-0 vote.
D. IOWA
A motion was offered by Farnum, seconded by Brudelie, and carried to approve Lisa Shellum as the IOWA for ISD 0458 for the 2026-27 school year. Motion passed on a 4-0 vote.
E. Combined Polling Place
A motion was offered by Krahmer, seconded by Farnum, and carried to approve the resolution to set the Truman Public School as the combined polling place for any upcoming election in calendar year 2027. Motion passed on a 4-0 vote with Krahmer, Brudelie, Pfeil and Farnum voting in favor and none voting against. 
F. General Obligation Facility Bonds
A motion was offered by Brudelie, seconded by Krahmer, and carried to approve the Resolution of Intention for the Board to Issue General Obligation Facility Maintenance Bonds Series 2026A in the amount of 1,900,000. And other actions. Motion passed on a 4-0 vote with Krahmer, Brudelie, Pfeil and Farnum voting in favor and none voting against.
G. LTFM 10 Year FY 2028 Revenue/Expenditures 
A motion was offered by Farnum, seconded by Brudelie, to approve the updated: 
10 year FY 2028 LTFM Revenue Plan
10 Year FY 2028 LTFM Expenditure Plan
Resolution - LTFM FY 2028
Assurances -LTFM FY 2028 
Motion passed on a 4-0 vote with Krahmer, Brudelie, Pfeil and Farnum voting in favor and none voting against.

A. Superintendent/Principal: Homecoming coronation tonight and new grandbaby update.

Motioned by Farnum, and seconded by Brudelie, to adjourn at 6:20 PM. Motion passed on a 4-0 vote.
