Pool Hours Treading Water

Public swim days have been few and far between at the Truman Pool this summer because of a shortage of lifeguards and certified pool staff. Several of last summer’s pool staff decided not to work again this summer. Thunderstorm activity mid-week last week also closed the pool to swimmers for safety reasons. TRIBUNE PHOTO
