Dan Rolling Obituary

Daniel J. (Dan) Rolling passed from this life on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at home with his family. He was 73 years old. A celebration of life was held at Grace Lutheran Church, Fairmont, MN on Wednesday afternoon, July 31, 2024. Burial was held at Lakeside Cemetery in Fairmont. The Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Dan is survived by his family who he loved and cherished: Wife of 50 years, Sheryl; Children: Melissa and Eric Erstad, Elizabeth and Mike Miller, and Nathan and Sarah Rolling; Grandchildren: Levi Little Elk, Owen Haefner, Sawyer Erstad, Meredith Miller, Norah Rolling, and Ava Rolling.

He is also survived by his mother, Mavis Tonne; Brothers: Randy Rolling, Steve Rolling, Keith (Kristi) Rolling, and Gene (Cindy) Tonne; Sisters: Deb (David) Alm, Kathy (Lee) Totzke, Sandra (Denny) Doolittle, Mary Sue (Kenny) Ringeisen, Renee Chase, and Deb (Kenny) Allen; Brothers and sisters-in-law: Shirley (Virgil) Jensen and Steve (Jan) Hagedorn. Dan is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his fathers Lloyd Rolling and Rudy Tonne, his parents-in-law Darrel and Opal Hagedorn, grandson Soren Ty Erstad, brother-in-law Gordon Chase, and maternal and paternal grandparents.
